The Metropolitan is the WildStorm universe's version of Abraham Dusk, the quantum virus that was responsible to the destruction of the Throne and C-Space. As a child, he was playing baseball with a group of children beside a chemical plant, when a bolt of lightning hit him, giving him increased strength and agility, as well as a healing factor. During the LA riots he was compelled to don a costume and fight crime as the Last Angel.
The Problem was, he wasn't very good at it, and spent much of his time healing up from one disastrous attempt at stopping a crime or another. he came to the attention of the MNonarchy, and Condition Red started tailing him and gathering information on him. Following a battle with an electric villan named Zerosum, Jackson King uploaded Chichinika, the God of LA into Bram's mind, and went about merging the two together. However, during the process, the God ripped King's psychic head off, and it was up to Farmer and Condition Red to complete the merging. Now the Metropolitan is the newest criminal mastermind to plague LA, and he's a member of the Monarchy. Whether or not he's worth the potential loss of Jackson King or not remains to be seen...
