and this is how it began. King on the carrier, feeling his mind go crazy. Farmer recognises him. he's somewhere else, seeing Christne, Naked and surrounded by fractal images while he is naked and golden.they've been offered a job by a group called the Weavers.
On Chimera, Ecos is reviewing the damage wrought to New Amsterdam by the Monarchy's arrival, and encounters Metorpolitan, instantly trying to kill him. However, Metropolitan easly defeats him, using fire, flood and earthquake to kill him - the things that kill cities.
As Hank and King travel through the Bleed, they discuss his Death. Hank explains that King is now imaginary, the final step for admission into the party. On revelation day, back on the carrier, King is told of the cancer, unable to believe he'll be able to fight it, but once he realises that all he has to do is find the root, instantly revelased to be a legion of Carriers. Of Shiftships. Christine is concerned for Jackson now, but is brought back to herself when Carin calls her Buona Fortuna.
Back in Philadelphia, Matt, dressed in an outfit he feels makes him look stupid, follows Christine through a teleport gate.
At Chimear, king descends out of the bleed, contacting the team while Hank attacks one of the Carriers in orbit. He updates Christine on his plan, and she, Addie, Malcom and Morro, the reweaving team, prepare to detonate. To deliver the innoculation to Chimera.
This is how it ends, one hundred percent bang, and not a whimper in sight. Mistress Midnighter hears reports of how the Higher power is being defeated at all turns, as Jackson sneaks up on her. She, of course spots him and attacks, knocking him to the ground. As she postures and prepares to deliver the killing blow, King tells her to look outside. she sees the puppy, Fenris, devestating the city they're in. King then Eviscerates her, stating that he's read the manual on midnighters, and he wasn't impressed. Talking to the sword, Farmer in a new state, he asks him to come out of his shell, and the World is bathed in rainbow light.
Somewhere OVer the Rainbow, Christine and Matt walk on a moon. she wants to show him the view, give him a sense of wonder. A massive ringed fortress surrounds a world. The Throne, a portable, parallel word paradigm. Capable of innoculating an infinite number of worlds across the reality web super system. They've got worlds to kill and brand new songs to sing, and its time for matt to meet the band.
