While Agent Morro talk to a restrained Malcom King about his family, Professor Q and Union go to texas to collect Addie Vochs, who doesn't want to go with them, and Fackson and Farmer talk in Long Beach about Farmer's misgivings over Jackson's plans to wake the Serpent god of Los Angeles, but Jacskon overrides him.
Back in the Lost Angel's apartment, he dreams of the fateful day he got his powers, he was playing baseball, and luckily cauht a ball, only to be hit by lightning, and gain agility, strength, and a healing factor. Waking from the dream, the echos of the other children calling him loser ringing in his ears, he suits up and goes on the prowl. Jackson, meanwhile is floating over LA, electricity flaring, causing lightning strikes and explosions, as he calls out "Is there ... Anyone at home?
Back in Texas, Professor Q has brought Addie to a maternity war in order to convince her to come with her and Union. When Addie says she doesn't care about children, Professor Q puts guns to the infants' heads, asking her "Are you sure?"
In LA, while Lost Angel fights a losing battle against an electric supervillan, Condition Red breaks into his apartment, and erases a farewell message from his Girlfriend, and Jacksonblacks out LA in his attempt to awake the serpent god. And in Maine, Malcom King blasts his way out of the Asylum...
